As a teacher of elementary children AND a mom of a preteen, I can’t express enough how important these tactics are for our children. The students in my class not only learned so much about conflict resolution, how to keep themselves safe and become much more aware of their surroundings, but they also left with such an incredible impression of YOU. (They have not stopped singing the song you taught them since you left.) I can't express enough how beneficial this is for empowering our children especially in the society we live in. I wish there were more programs like this in our school system.
Along with starting something so integral, you are also professional and extremely relatable to the students. They were enthralled by your fun loving charisma and respected your strict but loving and safe demeanor. They all wanted to listen and learn without hesitation.
Being a fourth grade teacher, I find this program to be extremely beneficial to children of this age. They will take this into their teen years and then adulthood. They will remember this forever!
